Cabarete Surf School is part of Swell Surf Camp, also located in Cabarete. But for families or individuals that are not staying at Swell Surf camp we can still offer quality surf lessons.
We have experienced surf instructors that teach surfing at Encuentro, and unlike most other school in the Caribbean, we follow a structure so that your progress is quick, safe and fun.
We have a variety of different boards that we teach on. For first timers, the safest and easiest option are the soft surfboards, but after a few days we can usually make the switch to proper hard top surfboards.

How we work?

Lessons & pricing

Our lessons are 1,5 hours in total, usually broken up in 2 sessions of 45 minutes each.
The prices for a surf lessons with Cabarete Surf School is $50 per person per lesson, and this includes use of material ( lycra, booties, leash and surfboard) and a hotel pickup (see location)

Availability

We want to give quality surf lessons so don't want to teach large groups, therefor space is limited. Contact us in advance to see if we can fit you into our schedule.
